Seafood Ubin in Sin Ming

Our motive in travelling all the way to here is simple.
Just to try the juicy steak!

It comes with fried rice which was tasty and was able to serve up to 4 pax.
As it was just the two of us, it was slightly too much but we were still able to finish (given a big tummy for good food)!

A minimum order of at least 500 to 600 grams of beef is required.
It also comes with fried potatoes together with tomato and honey mustard sauce to go along with the steak.
The beef was simply tender and juicy.

Do expect a big crowd especially for dinner so its its recommended to make reservations before heading down.

Medz @ Orchard Central

We had a craving for desserts and we went hunting on where to get a nice high tea spot.
And we ended up here in MEDZ at the Orchard Central Outlet.
There a promotion for cakes which was 3 for $16.90 and hence, we chose the Oreo Cheesecake, Tiramisu and Rainbow Cake.

Overall, it is a nice place to chill for high tea, recommended for sharing with your girlfriends or friends.

We also tried the Rosti with Cheese Sausage, and felt that the Rosti is slightly better than Marche's but not the sausages.

MEDZ is a similar concept to Marche.
The pros of being here is there were more varieties and their is student rates on weekdays which is more affordable.

1-FOR-1 at Canopy

We decided to check out CANOPY @ Bishan park as we got a 1 for 1 deal from the Entertainer App!
The promo was only valid for main course and so we chose the Cod Fish and Steak.

We opted the outdoor sitting as it comes with a nice scenery. However, beware of leaves that could drop into the plates which was what happened to the table beside us. Oops.

The Cod Fish was drizzled with Terayaki Sauce and had some mash potatoes underneath it.
While the steak tasted not bad too for such a great value.

Fat Boys @ Thomson

So its the first time for boyf to head to Thomson.
After looking through so many shops of food, we decided to have burger and wings.

We DIY our own burger and came up with a not so bad but overrated burger.
Perhaps we should ordered the normal burger which would be much nicer and cheaper.
However, the portion was huge and fulfilling.

The wings were awesome and it was too much for the two of us.
Would recommend it for sharing instead.

d' Good Cafe @ Holland Village

This cafe brings alot of attention and we decided to check it out on a weekday afternoon.

We ordered 1 hot latte which comes with a bear art that was pretty cute.
As usual, coming to such cafe would be to order the Eggs Benedict.

However, it bring me to a huge disappointment as it wasn't as great as Group Therapy's.
In terms of the bread crust, I think its softer here so its not too bad.

Still in the lookout for an Eggs Benedict which taste good with a good price other than Group Therapy.

Woo RiceBox

There has been alot reviews going on for Woo Ricebox located at the heart of CBD District.
So we decided to check that out to get a verdict this Taiwanese Rice Box.

We tried 2 different bentos, both were to our disappointment as there was no gravy which make the rice very dry.
Whatsmore, it isn't really that value-for-money in terms of being a "rice box".

I doubt we will ever come back, again.

Bangkok Jam @ Plaza Sing

Decided to try this newly opened Thai Food Restaurant as we happened to chanced upon.

Ordered my personal favourite, Fried Kway Teow.
Surprisingly tasted good as it is different from those you get in the hawker centers.
It comes with fragrance and the noodle texture was nice to chew.

Also ordered his personal favourite which is Minced Chicken Basil Rice.
Although it is supposed to a cheap meal for people in Thailand, it does not come cheap here in Singapore.
However, for the taste, it suits our tastebuds as it is not too spicy and the gravy was good.

Being in a Thai Restaurant, how could we forget about trying the local drinks.
So we order a Lemongrass tea and a Thai Milk Tea.

Not forgetting, the mainstream Mango Sticky Rice for desserts!

Immediately, I fell in love here after trying 3 course.
Definitely coming back again!
